This is a mixed collection of DVDs and VHS films still available, but some are becoming rare and maybe available only used. This list is the best VHS films for Keystone, Essanay and Mutual Films from Amazon and Kino Video International. Other films included are Chaplin's film, 'Countess of Hong Kong' and CHAPLIN (the movie by Richard Attenborough - 1992). Also included is the delightful Marion Davies 1928 silent comedy 'Show People', where Chaplin makes a rare cameo appearances as himself.

	Chaplin at Keystone - 1914 - VHS Kino Video - VHS version Until all the Chaplin Keystone Films are properly restored and placed on DVD, these are the best Keystone Chaplin videos. These are available from Kino International. The Kino version is the one seen on Turner Classic Movies. Included on this VHS video: Chaplin's first film appearance in 'Making A Living', 'Caught In a Cabaret', 'Mabel's Busy Day', 'The Masquerader' and 'The Rounders'. The 1993 Kino version from Amazon is not in the same box as pictured and I can't not find much information on the Amazon site, but placed the link to the right for you to see.
	Tillie's Punctured Romance - 1914 - DVD From Image Entertainment The first feature comedy ever made! This is the best U.S. copy available. Directed by Mack Sennett and starring Marie Dressler, Charlie Chaplin, Madel Normand and includes the Keystone Cops. This is the DVD version and comes with the special feature 'Mabel's Married Life' . It is available at Amazon.

	Chaplin Essanay Vol., 2 - 1915 - VHS VHS Collection from Kino International All digitally remastered with new musical scores by Robert Israel. Includes: 'A Jitney Elogement', 'The Tramp', 'By the Sea' and 'Work'. Great collection for Edna Purviance films.

CBS/FOX VHS
	Charlie Chaplin Centennial Collection - VHS The Chaplin Revue CBS FOX Video - VHS - 1992 The Chaplin Centennial Collection was released by CBS FOX in 1989 for Chaplin's 100th Birthday. This video collection of all Chaplin's United Artists, First National and one of his two British Production films is the same collection that has been newly remastered by Warner Brother and MK2. The Centennial Video Collection is still on the market, but if you have a DVD player, it is best to spend the money on the new DVD Chaplin Collection.
Reel Classic DVD
	Charlie Chaplin Rarities The Kid and Pay Day Reel Classic DVD British Reissue 1950s Want to see a version closest to the original 1921 film release of 'The Kid'? This film is the one to get. This film has many different clips of the same scene, but with a different feel and action on the screen, different intertitles for the storyline, scenes not available in the current version and more. Don't buy this, if you want Chaplin's music or the most highly restored film quality, of his last edited version of 'The Kid'. Buy this, if you want to see something new. Highly recommended for serious Chaplin fans and film buffs. NOTE: Is is not the same film as the Image Entertainment Shepard re-edits or any of the current Roy Export 'The Kid' versions.
	Charlie Chaplin Rarities Shoulder Arms & The Bond (1918) Extras: The Sinking of the Lusitania (1918) America Goes Over (1927) Reel Classic DVD British Reissue 1930s (Reseaching for exact year) Earlier version of Charlie Chaplin's 'Shoulder Arms' that is closer to the original silent film release. Some fans find this one better than the officially final edited film from Chaplin's retirement years. I have to agree, as I enjoyed it better too. Less scenes of Chaplin doing bits of business and much more focus on the story. I also like the end scene for Edna much better. It includes The Bond and a couple newsreel extras. One I would recommend for any Chaplin collection.
Chaplin - The Movie and Countness of Hong Kong
	Chaplin - 15th Anniversary Edition - DVD 2008 Richard Attenborough's 1992 film release about Chaplin. Starring Robert Downey, Jr. as Charles Chaplin. It is the first film to come out about Chaplin's life from his childhood to his later years. Chaplin's daughter, Geraldine Chaplin played Charlie's mother, Hannah. Based on Chaplin's 'My Autobiography' and Robinson 'Chaplin: His Life and Art'. For the best details on Chaplin's life, read 'Chaplin: His Life and Art' by David Robinson. This 15th Anniversary Edition DVD comes with featurettes including 'All At Sea' (Alistair Cooke 1930s film of Chaplin on his boat with Paulette Goddard), 'Chaplin Home Movies', 'Strolling into the Sunset', 'Chaplin the Hero' and 'The Most Famous Man in the World'. All on one DVD disc with a pull off slip plastic cover. Released in 2008.

This DVD comes in widescreen formatt with production notes, trailers and featurette.
	Charles Chaplin's Countness of Hong Kong - 1967 - DVD 2003 This is the least popular of Chaplin's films and mainly for the serious collector who desires to have all of Chaplin's films. It was Chaplin's last film. He did not star in it and only appeared in a cameo. It is also the only color film Chaplin made. Most remembered for Chaplin's song 'This is My Song' This is the new release of this film and is NOT part of the official Warner Brother Home Video Collection. Starring Marlon Brando and Sophia Loren
	Charlie Chaplin (and Company) Slapstick Masters - 2003 DVD Image Entertainment Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Monty Banks and Laurel and Hardy all share one film each on this special collection from David Shepard. The films include Chaplin's Easy Street (with new intertitles that were recently found from an 'new' original print), One Week with Buster Keaton, Chasing Choo-Choos with Monty Banks and Big Business with Laurel and Hardy. 	Show People - 1928 - VHS Starring Marion Davies and William Haines Directed by King Vidor Cameo - Charlie Chaplin Great 1928 silent comedy directed by King Vidor with Marion Davies as Peggy Pepper who travels to Hollywood with her father to try to make a career in the movies. Great scenes of the actual studios and many cameos of the great stars of the day, like Douglas Fairbanks and the great Charlie Chaplin, as themselves. Excellent for any silent film collection.
	Show People - 1928 - DVD-R (June 15, 2012 - Warner) Starring Marion Davies and William Haines Directed by King Vidor Cameo - Charlie Chaplin Great to see, maybe??? I am not a fan of DVD-R recordings, in general, unless it's the only way to get a film. This one is being record, on demand, per order. But Show People deserves a proper remastering, instead of a recording off a VHS tape. It comes with warnings it plays on 'play only' devices only, and may not play on anything else. If this is the only way you can get it, buyer beware.
	Douglas Fairbanks - A Modern Musketeer DVD Collection of Fairbanks films includes The Nut - 1921 Starring Douglas Fairbanks Cameo - Charlie Chaplin Great collection for Douglas Fairbank fans, or silent film fans in general. Douglas was one of Chaplin's closet friends in Hollywood. See the films Chaplin loved. And it appears the Chaplin experts are having their own 'debate' about whether Chaplin appeared as himself in 'The Nut'. I don't have the collection yet, so have not seen it myself, but the best collection to have Fairbanks work.

	The Artist - 2011 DVD and Blu-Ray - 2012 Studio - The Weinstein Company Starring Jean Dujardin and Bérénice Bejo Inspired new silent French film by director Michel Hazanvicius Limited film release in theatres and film festivals. Blu-Ray. Available for PRE-ORDER in the USA.
	Hugo - 2011 DVD and Blu-Ray - 2012 Studio - Paramount Studios Starring Chloe Moretz and Jude Law Martin Scorsese's adaptation of 'The Invention of Hugo Cabret' by Brian Selznick It features a fictional story about silent film maker Georges Méliès, who did work in a train station toy shop late in life. Selznick's book is 500+ pages, and a fully illustrated graphic novel, where the film is based.
