Charlie Chaplin's Films on VHS 1989 VHS Centennial Collection is the same collection recently restored for the current 2003/2004 Chaplin DVD Collection from MK2 and Warner Home Video. This is the collection with Chaplin's final edits. If you don't own a DVD player, this is the most complete collection of Chaplin films in the USA market on VHS. The current 2003/2004 MK2/Warner Chaplin Collection is not available on VHS. The 1989 VHS Centennial Collection is still available, but becoming rare, as the DVDs take over the VHS market. Chaplin's 1989 Centennial Collection - VHS		DVD	VHS
	The Chaplin Revue - 1959 1989 Centennial Collection - VHS CBS/FOX Video Starring Charlie Chaplin with Edna Purviance The Chaplin Revue includes 'A Dog's Life' (1918), 'Shoulder Arms' (1918) and 'The Pilgrim' (1923). 'The Pilgrim' has the song 'Bound for Texas'. This is the same collection recently restored onto DVD by MK2 and released by Warner Home Video.
	The Kid (1921) and The Idle Class (1921) 1989 Centennial Collection - VHS CBS/FOX Video Starring Charlie Chaplin with Edna Purviance and Jackie Coogan as 'The Kid' This is Chaplin's last edited version of the film. Key scenes involving the kid's parents were removed.
	A Woman of Paris (1923) and Sunnyside (1919) 1989 Centennial Collection - VHS CBS/FOX Video Starring Charlie Chaplin with Edna Purviance Edna Purviance's starring role in 'A Woman of Paris'. Chaplin's first United Artist film. Chaplin did not star in this picture. Chaplin did star with Edna in Sunnyside.
	The Gold Rush (1925) and Pay Day (1922) 1989 Centennial Collection - VHS CBS/FOX Video Gold Rush starring: Charlie Chaplin with Georgia Hale This is the 1942 restored version where Chaplin spoke the narrative and changed the ending. This was his first restored film from his silent work which Chaplin created a soundtrack. Includes 'Pay Day', Chaplin's last two-reel comedy. Edna Purviance plays the daughter to Chaplin's boss.
	The Circus (1928) and A Day's Pleasure (1919) 1989 Centennial Collection - VHS CBS/FOX Video Starring in The Circus: Charlie Chaplin with Merna Kennedy This is the 1970 version that Chaplin re-edited and created a soundtrack. It includes the song 'Swing Little Girl' in the opening credit. Chaplin wrote and sang the song himself. Also includes the 1919 comedy 'A Day's Pleasure', with Edna Purviance and Jackie Coogan.
