An Extra mistaken as Edna in a book publication.

This picture is from a well-known book about Chaplin. The book is an excellent one, but leave it up to you to find the image.

The caption basically read: Edna arrives at the hotel...

But when I saw it, I knew the body type was not correct and didn't look like Edna

I had to find it wasn't her, so it took me about 15 minutes to locate the proof.

The film is The Idle Class (1921).
Charlie and Edna with Edna's father in the film, as the other woman walks in.

The woman about to be introduced by the father to Edna and Charlie.

Edna's father in the film, introduces Edna and Charlie.

Just for future reference to help not continue the error: The book was Silent Traces.
